happy new year!

new year's eve was a ball. took a good dance workshop, held my own in the jack & jill competition (i didn't make finals, but i don't mind), got to finally talk to [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] on the phone, had an impromptu cocktail party in my room, and danced my butt off until 1:30am. oh, and managed to deflect a makeout session with S without too much drama. *grin*

driving home to philly today. it's funny, i'm actually looking forward to going. i've had a blast over the last week here in boston, but it'll be good to be in my apartment with my little fuzzy dude following me around.

back home again.

well, i'm back in philly. i was planning on heading out tonight, there's a karaoke night at the place where i met KB last week... but 1. i'm SO tired, and 2. KB and his friends can't go (which means the place'll be dead), and 3. the mummers parade is ending late and i don't want to deal with that evil center city traffic. so i think that means i'm staying home with a stack of magazines, and i'll head to bed early. woo.

most of my new years weekend photos are on a disposable camera, 'cause i'm stupid and didn't charge my digital's battery enough before i headed to boston... but i managed to get a few shots before it crapped out on me (the photos are huge again, not sure why the un-shrunk ones are linking):
