so, remember my post about new year's weekend, and how my purse was stolen right out of the ballroom... and how, when i reported it to the front desk, they told me that a bunch of purses had been taken, and that they had notified the police?

nope.

i called the police station this morning, since i hadn't heard from them in a month and thought they might need a statement. (plus i want them to find those assholes, so they can give me the $300 for my damn camera.) well, lo and behold, the hotel NEVER REPORTED THE THEFTS! the front desk manager flat-out lied to me, probably to save their butts, and now it's been a month and i'll never get my stuff back. the police were shocked that they hadn't reported it... and now i have to fax them a statement of what happened. i am so angry right now, i want to go up to that hotel and punch that woman in the face.

Lodge a complaint to the coprorate office of the hotel chain. If that gets you nowhere I'll be happy to pay them a little visit.

i did, i e-mailed corporate headquarters and told them the situation, and suggested that they probably didn't want this to become public. we'll see what happens... grrrrr.

Don't give this one up. Keep calling and emailing every week. Call the local TV station Help me Hank on channell 7 she loves crap like this. I would be relentlis. (bad spelling)

i thought about calling hank phillipe ryan, she's cool... i want to see what the hotel does first before i call her. i'm hoping they'll be smart and handle things well (and allow me a good swing at that manager, lol).
