swingchickieso, remember my post about new year's weekend, and how my purse was stolen right out of the ballroom... and how, when i reported it to the front desk, they told me that a bunch of purses had been taken, and that they had notified the police?
nope.
i called the police station this morning, since i hadn't heard from them in a month and thought they might need a statement. (plus i want them to find those assholes, so they can give me the $300 for my damn camera.) well, lo and behold, the hotel NEVER REPORTED THE THEFTS! the front desk manager flat-out lied to me, probably to save their butts, and now it's been a month and i'll never get my stuff back. the police were shocked that they hadn't reported it... and now i have to fax them a statement of what happened. i am so angry right now, i want to go up to that hotel and punch that woman in the face.
