Oh, and question for you - you've posted about coffee sweetener a few times so I figure you're a good one to ask. I'm trying to get myself off cream and sugar in my coffee... what do you use? I'd rather not switch to an artificial sweetener because I'm trying to get off those as well, but as far as I know, that pretty much puts me out of options. Do you do something fantastical to your coffee to make it palatable, or is it pretty much just a "skim milk and equal" kinda thing?
i usually do one of 2 things: 1. brew the coffee with a sprinkle of cinnamon on the grounds, and then add cream and splenda, or 2. brew the coffee regularly and use sugar-free vanilla coffeemate (which is as fake as you can get). this weekend i'm going to try making my own -- pouring some fat-free half and half into a container, adding a bit of extract (vanilla or coconut) and some splenda, and shaking it up. we'll see!
