to bee... or not to bee

has anyone noticed that there are no bees this year? i saw a few fat lazy bumblebees in the spring buzzing around my holly tree, but after a few days they weren't there anymore. i haven't seen a single bee since. it didn't hit me until my parents mentioned it a few weeks ago, and now i'm a bit freaked out... seems there's something mysterious that's killing bees worldwide, and it's going to be a doozy for food prices soon because we need bees to pollinate a lot of our crops. there's a story about it here:

I noticed this, too.

I was talking to my parents about this today, and they said they have more happy bees around their new house than they know what to do with.

So I guess all the bees are just hanging out in Hardwick, NJ.
