OxyClean DOES take hair dye out of fabric! i soaked my pillowcases and t-shirt for about an hour, in a bucket with 2 gallons of water and 6 scoops of Oxy... and it's completely gone. what a freak-out.

i IMed with D yesterday afternoon, we chatted for about an hour before i headed out to the young dubliners show... still trying to get a handle on him. great conversation again, no sparks from him flying anywhere. *pout* hmmm. he might come over tonight for my little oscars party, but he's developing a cold so i'm not betting any money on it. we shall see.

i'm trying to get stuff done for this evening, and i am SORE... i basically spent the entire dubs concert jumping up and down like a lunatic (their music is really infectious... listen here), and i'm paying for it today. it's amazing that i even saw the show at all -- when i called yesterday, i was told they'd go on at 9... L1 and i got there at 8:30, and sat at the bar until 11:30 at night (the opener didn't even go on until almost 11). i was yawning like a baby until the dubs came on at quarter to midnight, and then i jumped my ass off until about 1:30am. i'm SO going to need a nap this afternoon...

menu for tonight:
caesar salad
fresh-baked onion focaccia
crusty multi-grain bread
fresh garlic and parsley linguine, with choice of pesto or red pecorino sauce
homemade meatballs
mini amaretto bundt cakes with powdered sugar and raspberries

oh, and lots of red wine, in case my cooking sucks. :)

and i still think paul giamatti was ROBBED... i'm going to throw things at the TV when the "best actor" nominations come on. grrrrr.
