swingchickiewell, we got the snow, but we didn't get pounded, which is good. maybe 2 inches or so. i hear monday's going to be a doozy though. *sigh* is it april yet?
this morning is my annual review. i'm a teeny bit nervous, but i shouldn't be... it was a good year for me, as our cluster was in total shambles all year and i stepped up to take charge on a lot of things to keep it together. i'm hoping it'll be reflected in my raise. the other day, at the hospital lecture i was at, 2 of my teammates told me they both want me to get the big annual award (that i mentioned in a recent post)... one of them said she actually nominated me for 3 other awards as well, and when her manager told her she should spread out her nominations, she said "nope... jenn deserves every one of them, so i'm nominating her for all of them." it's SO sweet, and makes me hopeful that i'll get some recognition at the upcoming big meeting... but now that my hopes are up, it's going to SUCK if i don't get anything. *sigh* i'd almost rather not know that i was nominated.
tonight is "me night". i have a hair appointment at 5:30, then i'm going to rent a video, get some takeout sushi, and stay in and relax. i'm so looking forward to it. it would have been nice to have a date tonight, but having some time to myself is great as well.
