slumber party
Oct. 8th, 2004 07:04 pmbeing sofa-less for a few days has actually been a lot of fun. for the last couple of nights i've hung out on my aero-bed on the living room floor and just slept there. i've actually slept really well, the darn thing is comfy! i've been surprisingly well-rested the last couple of nights.
tonight should be fun... i rented 3 movies for the weekend (2 comedy concert movies -- chris rock and eddie murphy, and "envy" with jack black), so i'll have some takeout while i watch one, and then i'll catch the 2nd prez debate at 9. then off to sleep on the floor again (whee), and then new furniture tomorrow morning at 9am!
eek... that reminds me... i got claw caps for angus so he won't scratch the new sofas... tonight i need to wrestle those suckers onto him. eek.

Date: 2004-10-09 07:06 am (UTC)some helpful hints for your friend:
1. don't trim the cat's nails too short, just trim the veeeeerrrrry tip so that they're still pointy. i had to skip a few caps because a few of the nails were too blunt and the cap wouldn't go on easily.
2. get the colored ones. i got clear, but they also come in pink, blue, etc. it makes it easier to see. i'm sure the cat looks goofy, but it's easier to tell when one has come off and needs to be replaced.
