hey peeps! before i forget -- spread the word, we're doing a contest for Tailspin where someone can win a free hoop! we've been getting a lot of requests for custom hoop orders with purple tapes, and i realized that we don't have any purple hoops in our catalog... so we're going to let you guys design it! you (or someone you know) just need to e-mail "info at tailspinhoops dot com" with your design idea, that has to include either purple glitter or purple mirror tape. (you can see the tapes we have on hand here for ideas: http://tailspinhoops.com/tapes.html) we'll pick a winning design at the end of the month, and that person will get a hoop in the size and design of their choice.

okay. now, what else is going on? not much... just attending the meeting, trying to catch up with office stuff (e-mails etc) in between sessions, and hoping desperately that this scratchy throat is not the beginning of a cold or flu. got to see a couple of my chicago (and formerly boston) peeps at dinner last night, which was awesome. and i'm seriously considering doing room service again tonight, because the thought of going out in chicago on st. patrick's day makes me want to cry. (yes, i am the least-irish irish person ever.)

Sorry I missed you on Tuesday!! Let me know in advance when you will be coming next so I can try to get everyone schedules cleared. At least you have some decent weather while here eh? I'm lovin it! Did you get to see the green river (oops you said not a big fan of the holiday?? Hope you feel better and don't get REAL sick! Hope the hoop business issue is not too stressful.

i saw the river from the bus on our drive to the hotel... unfortunately outside of that and the 2-block walk to dinner last night, that's been my total exposure to chicago. been in the hotel the rest of the time!

i'll let you know the next time i'm out here, hopefully in a few months...

I (mostly) skipped Boston on St. Patrick's Day, too

There were already drunk morons out on the street at around 6 pm. We went for Indian food (mmm... Mela!) and came back to the hotel. Other than a quickish jaunt outside for the fothermucking alarm pulling stunt, where I got to see lots MORE green revelers, I stayed in.

I did have half a corned-beef sandwich for lunch, however. Half, because I realized I really don't like corned beef much.

I had on socks with frogs on them, but that was a total accident. Please don't hate me.
