definitely a lazy rainy saturday.

swingchickiethe rain and wind outside is insane... a few minutes ago half my outdoor furniture slid across the deck in a gust of wind. mother nature's definitely doing some spring cleaning -- there are going to be a ton of downed branches when we venture out later on.
it's been a relaxing day. did a bit of laundry and made a hoop, other than that we've been watching TV and surfing the 'net. duck has been snoring between my feet for about 2 hours now... it's taking all my self-control to not chew on his cute little snoozing face. we watched the 2010 oscar-nominated animated shorts, some were "eh" and some were brilliant. i can see why "logorama" won -- not only was it thought-provoking, it was fun to discover all the ways they used corporate logos (e.g. in the opening shot, a flock of butterflies was actually a bunch of MSN logos).
jack's house has 3 showings today. 2 of them overlap by about 15 minutes, i'm hoping that seeing other prospective buyers there gets each of them feeling competitive and he gets a bid. :) hey, i can dream..
