swingchickie | things that are making me happy today:

* waking up this morning and seeing the same number on the scale as yesterday, even though i had a big dinner out last night. goes to prove that being good throughout the day, and making good choices at a restaurant, can equal no big jump on the scale afterwards.

* just came home from the supermarket and surveyed my fridge after i stocked it for the coming week... it looks wonderful. full of fruits and veggies, lean meats, hummus and sugar-free pudding. yay!

* went to the chiropractor this afternoon. he confirmed that my back and hips were a mess, and after much pushing and pulling i'm in much better alignment. no hooping or salsa dancing allowed until my next appointment, which is a bummer, but i'd rather rest and be in better shape next week.

* yay phillies win last night!!!!! how amazing to have lived in boston when the sox won a few years ago, and to see the same elation now living here.

* agenda for tonight: magazines, a bubble bath and kitty snorgling.
