looking out my window, it's storming like crazy outside. windy as hell, and it keeps going from pouring rain to giant floofy snowflakes to rain again. definitely one of those days where i'd love to be home on the couch watching it out the window, rather than watching it form my office and knowing i'm going to have to go out in that at the end of the day.

which brings me to my quandary. tonight is salsa class, and i was going to go tonight to see if the ouchy back's truly finished. but the thought of driving 90 minutes round-trip in this cold, slippery crap is less than appealing. if i were [livejournal.com profile] boutell, i'd walk there if i had to, without an umbrella, barefoot. but i want to be warm and dry and cozy, dammit. i want to stay home, throw in a load of laundry, heat up some sugar-free cocoa and do some angus snugglin'.

sigh.

I vote for cocoa and snorgling. Celebrate the changing season by being gentle to yourself.

Seconded. Also, cold = tight muscles. That might be less than ideal given the recent back thing. I'm just sayin.

I have to say, I'm with the others. The boyfriends has a bad knee, and I keep trying to convince him that a few days rest now = being able to use it later. Every time he starts to feel better, he runs out and winds up hurting again. Don't do that to yourself.
