it's a slow afternoon at work and i'm procrastinating. so who wants to do a fun little meme-y thing?

recently some co-workers and i were talking about quirks we had that might be odd to others but are part of everyday life for each of us. so... what is one thing you do that's "quirky"?

i'll start:

if i'm somewhere in public where i have to grab a disposable eating utensil from a communal bin (e.g. taking a stirrer for my coffee at starbucks, grabbing a fork for my lunch in the cafeteria), i never take one that's standing out... like if a tub of plastic forks has one sticking up farther than the others, i don't take that one, i dig through to get one in the center. why? because in the movies, that fork or whatever would have been poisoned by someone and they made it stand out so someone else would grab it.

do i *really* think that someone would poison a fork or straw and place it strategically for a stranger to use? no. do i still avoid them? yep.

Oh, God, I'm so bored too.

I pick the one that is standing out because it has decided it's ready to leave the nest.

I do the same thing with plastic utensils
