last week i planted wheatgrass seeds in 3 small planters to put on my windowsill at work. i planted them right before i went on my NY trip, and my last day in the office i noticed the seeds had sgtarted to crack open a teeny bit. 5 days later, this is what i saw when i opened my office door:

um, WHOA. i actually thought someone had stuck plastic grass in there as a joke.

silly me for worrying about the weeds and stuff in my lawn... i'm just going to seed the whole thing with wheatgrass, and let the local restaurants pay me to come over and mow it so they can juice the clippings. of course it'd have to be mown twice a week...
