swingchickiethe situation: i want to eventually put some video of me hooping on the tailspin website. but i need to find music to hoop to that is legal (i full understand that i can't just take my favorite songs and pop them onto my website for free).
my questions:
1. i've heard of the "creative commons license" for some music, but my understanding is that music can be used for non-commercial purposes. since my website is mostly commercial, i'm assuming i wouldn't be able to use creative commons music then, correct?
2. do any of you know of any way for me to get the rights to use a portion of a song on my site for only a couple hundred bucks? i can't afford thousands of dollars in legal fees and music rights, i jsut want to find a cool danceable song that i can dance to, film it, and pop up the youtube link on one of my pages.
