#1 - this is what it looks like when you have to take a 60" diameter hula hoop to the post office, and it doesn't fit in the back seat of your car. (yes, it got there in one piece, thank god for string and bungee cords.)




#2 - this is what it looks like when your kitty suddently discovers just how much a tabletop fan can cool you down. this is my little guy's regular seating situation now, every night when i get home from work and turn that fan on. he's completely blocked my access to it, the little jerk! and to say that arm of the sofa is covered in cat hair would be an understatement.

*snort* Your feline companion is no dummy! You realize, of course, that one day you're going to come home and the fan will already be on! And he'll be like... "What? It came on by itself, honest!" :)

yeah, he's a pretty smart dude... he sits there all evening, face right up to the fan, and just purrs like crazy. if only i could train him to fetch me a glass of wine while i put my feet up...
