*sigh*. one of jack's co-workers just e-mailed me a link to the profile of a sweet, sweet kitty... she helps out sometimes at a shelter that used to be right down the street from me, and this little guy just arrived.

how funny would it be to have 2 angus's living in my house? i've been thinking for a while about getting him a brother or sister, but didn't know how he'd react... i'm wondering if the same name would get him confused. (not that i'm really thinking of adopting angus #2... but... oh darnit... *whine*)

He's male, he might not freak too bad. Usually girl cats don't much care for the blessed event, although it works out better if the other cat is at least a physical peer they don't reckon they can freely abuse (*cough* Probat when Illy was a kitten *cough*).

As you know, EVERY cat needs a playmate to help keep from getting bored. Two cats are no more trouble than one. And who cares if both are called Angus. It is so seldom either will come when they are called youwill feel joy if one does. Also, white cats with two color eyes tend to be deaf. If you decide to get Angus the twoth, check that out. I had Opal Gloria who was white and deaf, but she had sensitive whiskers. I swear her whiskers could detect the fluttering of my eyelids first thing in the morning through closed doors. And deaf cats tend to talk quite loudly, (in an attempt to here themselves, maybe). All that said, I believe you should go for it, take the plunge, become a two cat family again.
