swingchickie | what a wonderful weekend.

it seems that spring full-on exploded during our week in puerto rico. most of my trees are in bloom, the grass is turning green, and this morning we woke up to an almost deafening chorus of birds singing in the neighborhood. the gorgeous weather yesterday inspired me to do some of the outside chore stuff i've been avoiding, and jack and i spent last night grilling burgers on my deck and sipping passionfruit coladas (our new addiction from one of the restaurants at our hotel). the thought of going back to work tomorrow makes me want to cry... literally, this morning when jack said he was heading home to do some chores, i burst into tears because it hit me that our vacation was pretty much over. i had 300 new e-mails waiting for me yesterday, and i've whittled that down to a more manageable 40 that need to be answered tonight. for now though, i'm going to go outside and plant some flowers in my boxes, make a hoop that was ordered while i was away, and go through the 75 photos i took last week.
