70 degrees today.

i will SO be hooping outdoors after work. it's just a question of whether i do it in my backyard where the neighbors can spy on me, or head to one of the local parks.

i'll also be driving with the top down for the first time this year. yaaaaaayyyyy! i finally cleaned all the crap out of my car last night to get ready.

i saw the first real signs of spring yesterday: a guy mowing the grass in an apartment complex (i love the smell of cut grass, allergies be damned!), and the first pink buds exploding on my giant weeping cherry tree. ah, this is my favorite time of year.

There was a WICKED skinny woman who hooped as one of the Big Apple Circus acts. The best part was when she hooped her ass. Just her ass. Stuck that bony butt out and swirled a hoop around it. Vertically, like this:

Good god today was beautiful. I'm glad I spent some time out of doors, even if it wasn't really recreational cycling.
