jack and i spent our sunday morning constructing a whole new batch of hoops, because my stock was getting dangerously low. the final hoop was reserved for me -- a 39" one, 3 inches tighter than my usual 42" hoop. i've been feeling lately that i need to graduate to a smaller hoop, because i'm now dancing to faster songs and it's hard to get a bigger hoop to rotate at that speed. i'm glad i didn't get too drastic and go to the 36" size that a lot of really good hoopers use, though -- 39" is just enough to feel different without being too hard to use. the toughest thing right now is figuring out what colors to use on it... so many choices, i can't make up my mind!!!!

movie review: jack and i saw "vantage point" last night... eh. it's a great idea for a movie, and the first hour or so is pretty decent. then towards the end the whole thing becomes a laughable mess. literally, a bunch of us in the theater were laughing out loud... and the ending will make you go, "are you EFFING SERIOUS???"

tomorrow night is my first WCS performance class, and i'm so psyched. i've taken a performance class before, bill cameron ran one in boston that was great (we learned a new routine every few months)... but this one will end with an actual performance in july. yay!

Yay! I've committed myself to one too, a realz one, not just me and my instructor and 200 lawyers and overpriced asparagus. Not sure exactly when they will start. It would be necessary for Mike Andino to get his ass out of bed on Sunday mornings. (:
