saturday update

swingchickie* it took almost 12 hours of work today, but the updates to the Tailspin website are done. *whew*! i have some new themed hoops on there, which came out really nice... i might actually use some of them myself! mrl24's advice and signed up for the Amazon affiliate program... this way, when i recommend the instructional videos i like, i might actually get a nickel or so for it. :) one thing i do need to work on is the photography -- all of my photos are rather gray. it's super-hard to take a picture of a giant hoop, and even harder to get the glitter-y-ness to come through well. grrr. besides that, i am still freaking proud of myself for keeping this website going, considering i am such a technopeasant. *patting self on the back*
* weight watchers is going really well. i need to write more about it on thisisntadiet.com, but this week was nuts at work. (9-5 back-to-back meetings every day, including lunch. urk.) according to my scale, i'm down 6 pounds (w00t!), and i feel really good. i'm drinking more water, eating out less, exercising a bit more. and jack is going to take a swing dance class with me starting next week, so we'll have a chance to get some exercise together.
* for the Lost junkies out there: if you hadn't heard yet, there's an online game that started 1/1, that will go up to the new season starts on 1/31. you can find it at www.find815.com. it's been fun so far, it moves a bit slow because you have to wait for them to release info every day... but it's feeding my addiction for the next few weeks.
* philly peeps: do any of you remember Club Atlantis from the 80s? did you know it STILL EXISTS??? i drive past it to get to my dance class, and i thought maybe the restaurant it's attached to just never changed the sign... but nope, it is now a wedding venue. basically, they kept the club the same, and just added a fountain for ambiance. but it still looks amazingly cheeseball. please, PLEASE, whoever in the group gets married next HAS to get married there. (and i can say that 'cause it won't be me. hee!)
