hoop, there it is

swingchickieover the last couple of weeks, i've seen an increase in "stranger" hoop orders... people purchasing hoops from my site who i don't even know. it's such a cool feeling, to think that people are either finding my site through my ads or a search, liking what they see, and wanting to buy one... or that friends are telling people they know to check the site out. i'm like, "wow, people are buying my stuff not just because they know me???" it's so neat.
i can't believe we only have a few weeks left until the end of the year. that means at the beginning of january, i need to change my homepage again to get rid of all the holiday stuff. oh shoot, i have to re-shoot all the hoops because i did them all in front of the tree! eek! the good news is that i'll have a vacation day or two to get that all ready... i have some fun new valentine's-themed color combos that i want to try.
in other totally different news, angus got a clean bill of health at his vet visit last week. i'm so happy! literally, this is the first time he's been to the vet since last year's physical. to think that in boston i had to keep rushing him to the ER with bladder infections and dislocating knees and all sorts of other stuff... and now he's so healthy... i'm thrilled. he's overdue for a cardiologist visit to check out his galloping ticker, but that's a walk in the park compared to years and years of emergencies. :)
i got a clean bill of heath too, for my teefies. my dentist appointment last week for a checkup and polish went swimmingly -- i arrived a bit early, so they invited me to the back room to sit in the shiatsu chair and listen to music and have a glass of merlot while i waited. (me: "you really don't mind me drinking red wine before you polish my teeth?" tech: "what better time to get your teeth cleaned, than AFTER a glass of red wine, not before?") i love this dental office, i think i might give myself some cavities just so i can go back more often. *grin*
