worst. monday. ever.

swingchickiethe monday after thanksgiving is so rough... we've just had a 4-day weekend, and now a full workweek stretches out before us. all i can hope is that work is busy enought to make it fly (i may regret this sentence).
the holiday weekend was really nice. thanksgiving was split between my mom's and jack's mom's... he and i got to spend some quality time watching a marathon of CSI... and i got a lot accomplished at home chore-wise. but the biggest, most awesome part of the weekend was:![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ms_violet's wedding!
the whole thing was just perfect*. simple, meaningful, perfectly suited to the happy couple. everyone was holding it together untilxtingu started singing, and then we all bawled. and i have learned a fundamental life lesson: only go to weddings where fun people will be. seriously, the philly peeps brought the funny that evening. kamikaze shots led into fake prom photos by the fireplace, which turned to zombie prom photos, which led into a giant group hug/dance for the last song while the photographer laid on his back under us in the circle and snapped away.
a small number of photos under the cut... jack and i took 67, everyone can see them in his flickr account later this week if they want the whole shebang.

*part of the perfection was the proof that i am psychic... i said to jack as we were driving over, "i think i'm going to see someone there that i haven't seen in forever." right before the ceremony started, who was seated next to us but J, my boyfriend from when i was like 25. turns out he's a good friend of the groom. too funny.
