yes, you read that last sentence right... wha?

i finally chose a dentist here in philly. (yes, it's been a long time since i moved here. don't judge.) i was having a hard time finding a place, when jack-who-is-all-things-awesome recommended his dentist. when he described the practice, i thought he was joking... but sure enough, after i made my first appointment, i got a welcome letter and brochure in the mail that confirmed everything he'd said. no lie, this is just some of what the office does for your overall dental hygeine expereince:

* massage chairs in the waiting room
* you get a free PARAFFIN HAND TREATMENT during your cleaning or fillings or whatever
* they give you a warm aromatheraphy neck wrap to wear in the chair to help relax you
* they offer you coffee, tea, soda, or a glass of wine before your appointment
* you can watch cable TV or a DVD while you're there in the chair

and then, yeah, they do normal dentist-y stuff too. it's like going to a spa where they happen to check your teeth while you're there! this should be an interesting morning, i'm looking forward to seeing this for myself (but NOT looking forward to seeing if i have any cavities).
