happy friday!
Jul. 6th, 2007 06:24 ami got a GREAT night's sleep last night, so i am chipper and raring to go. i've been sleeping like crap the last few nights, my mind has been racing and i've been jumping out of my skin... then it hit me yesterday morning: JENN, DO NOT DO CROSSWORD PUZZLES BEFORE BED. i think they've been sending my brain into overdrive, and it can't shut down that quickly to go sleepies. so last night i put down the crossword puzzles an hour before i went to sleep, and voila! slept like a baby.
tomorrow is "world hooping day" -- any philly peeps around to head to a park somewhere and have a pic-a-nic and goof off with my hoops? it's going to be a warm day, but a late morning or late afternoon would still be fun. plus i haven't been to a park in years, which is just WRONG. if you can't go, but have a suggestion for a place, i'd gratefully accept it.
oh, and chicago peeps (all two of you): if you know anyone who's a computer guru, i know of a job opening. just got e-mailed by a friend, he said it's a great company. so if you know of anyone, give them my e-mail (use swingchickie at gmail dot com) and i'll send 'em the info i have.
have a great weekend, everyone! *mwah*

I plan to skate my ass off tomorrow, but I'm racking my brain, thinking there has to be someplace perfect for hooping SOMEWHERE along the Fairmount Park loop... which would allow me to cameo in hoopland... but, I got nothin'. It's a very linear park. Nothing's preventing you from hooping right in Rittenhouse Square, of course. So far the little old ladies have failed to criminalize hooping.
Washington Square park might be less crowded. That's between, oh, sixth and eighth and between Locust and Chestnut. As you almost certainly already know.
If you come hooping in the City I'll stop in and say hello and make an ass of myself for some period of time. (;
