i finally let some of my immediate teammates in on the whole "me and jack" thing. they are completely thrilled. the reaction every single one of them had? "how the HELL did you keep this a secret for SIX MONTHS??? are you some sort of super-human secret-keeper???" hee. not a single one of them had any inkling the whole time, which i think speaks to the professionalism jack and i have shown at work. there have been other flirty escapades over time in our building, which everyone gossiped about because it was rather obvious... but this time, for our situation, the news has been a complete surprise. good. :)

i am so looking forward to this weekend. this week has been a challenge, on so many levels. jack has offered up his patio, grill, and gin & tonics for tomorrow night as therapy, and i have gratefully accepted. now, if i can just power through until friday afternoon... please please please.
