swingchickieit's been a good week so far, and the next couple of weeks promise to be cool as well. had my annual review the other day, the best review i've had in my career... got my bonus the same day, nothing that will allow me to retire early, but enough that i can pay off a chunk of my car loan (i want my car paid off this year, the $600/month payments are killing me). had another career challenge yesterday that i think i handled very well. so work-wise, i'm really psyched.
things are cool personally too -- going to the flyers game tonight with the boy, then taking some jordan and tatiana workshops this weekend (for the non-west-coast swing dancers out there, here's a clip of their first major competition performance below). next week is my first competition weekend in over a year, so i figure i should get some practice in!
oh... and it was 78 degrees yesterday. i was stuck indoors all day, but just to know that the weather was beautiful made me soooo happy. spring spring spring!
