swingchickiei can't stop giggling. my new mattress was delivered this morning, and i just keep looking at it and cracking up. it is HUGE. i literally have to CLIMB into bed now! i have to stand on the frame and haul myself up onto it. even angus, after he jumped up there for the first time, had this look on his face like "WTF???"
get a load of this. so, this is my old, sad, 13-year-old mattress... the first mattress i ever bought, for my very first apartment:
now, look at that photo and make a mental note of how much of the headboard you can see, even the gap towards the bottom. because this is the NEW mattress:
you can just baaaarely see that gap if you look in the lower left area of the photo! this monster is at least 8 inches higher than my old one! it is higher than my waist:
good lord, i'm going to fall out of bed tomorrow when i get up. if i ever get up, that is... i have a feeling i'm going to sleep for like 20 hours once i sink in.
