nothing to report from the long holiday weekend.

i had such high hopes, and yesterday morning started out great... i got a bunch of errands done, and grabbed some sushi at my favorite place for lunch. but by the time i got home, i found myself in the throes of a horrible, horrible headache... one of those sinus-y ones where, when you bend over to pick something up, your barin sloshes inside your skull and makes you feel like you've been shot in the head. ow OW ow. so i tried to get some sleep, and only succeeded in making myself groggy while still in awful pain. the boy stopped by unannounced to check on me, and looked in the window to find me parked on the sofa in my pj's, unshowered, eating sugar-free butter pecan ice cream right out of the container in my misery. *chuckle* talk about pathetic.

so, that's pretty much been my weekend: parked on the couch going "oweeeeee" and trying to pop enough advil cold & sinus to calm down my head for a few hours. i did manage to get out to see "pippin" with jeremym for a few hours (great cast, but sheesh, that show needs to be re-named "pippin is a whiny little bitch")... now i'm right back to feeling ouchy and about to spend my night on the boy's couch feeling like crap. whee.

if you wanna read with a hot man, you go for it.

frankly, I haven't generally found men (hot or otherwise) helpful when I'm sick.

OTOH, maybe that's 'cause I'm a cranky fothermucker when I'm sick... hmm...
