swingchickie | **PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT**

to anyone who might go to see the "legendary shack shakers" play live, DO NOT STAND IN THE FRONT ROW. this is what you're in for:

*when their set starts out, you will like their music.
*you will the think the lead singer is very energetic and wacky at first.
*as the lead singer starts to go apeshit, breaking things and tearing off his clothing and accidentally falling into the crack between the stage and the crowd barrier and hitting you with the mic stand, you will think he's on heavy drugs but still entertaining.
*when he starts wiping the sweat off his nasty chest and flicking it into the audience, you will be grossed out but still think he's entertaining in a bad-ass kind of way.
*and then he will shoot snot out of his nose into the audience.
*and then he will reach into his pants and rip out his own pubic hair and toss it into the crowd.
*and then he and the others in the band will hock big fat balls of spit at everyone, and they will be sliding around in it onstage.
*and you will have to choke back the vomit welling up in your throat.

so, if you're going to see them live, do not stand in the front. unless you're wearing a raincoat. or like ducking a lot.

oh... and the reverend horton heat kicked ass, as usual. THAT was a good reason to be in the front row.
