these are kittens that my friend R in boston is fostering for a few weeks. i want to eat them, they're so cute!!!!! oooooooo! how in the world do you give these little things away after even 5 seconds of being in the same room? it would be physically impossible for me to do.

i know! and all the stripey ones look like baby versions of monkey. awwwww.

i just noticed there's another kitten in there... the on with the blue eyes is leaning on some dark grey fur, turns out they're all piled on one of their siblings. lol

Speaking as someone with lots of experience fostering kittens and about to start up again... it gets easier every time.

They're awfully cute when they're just sitting there like that, aren't they?

Not so much when you can't walk into the room and then out again without peeling four of them off your legs.

(Well, ok, so that's pretty cute too.) Still, I find myself more attached to the mothers than the kittens. I can give the kittens up with well-wishes, but I always want to keep the moms.
