well, i need to make sure i'm *qualified* first. this might be a case where i need to practice for 6 months or more until the next round of tryouts. but if i go, i will certianly let you go, so you can tell me what a badass i am. :)

Makes sense. I think they teach some valuable skills at these tryouts, like falling properly, and there are probably networking opportunities for finding practice partners and so on. But soon enough you'll know much more than I do.
