whole lot o' nothin'

swingchickiethe last couple of days have been pretty uneventful. we started a new training class monday, and it looks like it'll be a good one -- nice people who participate in class, gotta love it! yesterday i presented for the first time, which made me a little nervous but i didn't completely screw up. (yay me.) i was in the classroom at 6:30am to prep though, which was painful. by 5:30pm i was ready for bed. i managed to run an errand after work and treat myself to sushi, and then was snoring by 10pm.
tonight i really have to hit lowe's for house stuff, especially a dehumidifier. this whole place smells musty (i have a really shady lot), and if i don't get a dehumidifier soon i worry i'm going to rot this house into the ground. between the dampness and the spiders (how can there be SO MANY types of spider, and why are they all in my house?), i feel like i'm living outdoors. angus's killer instincts are coming out in full force, he has become a total bug ninja... practically every day i'm seeing him batting a spider around or chewing on something that i'm sure i don't want to know about. and the little dude can totally smack flies right out of the air, i'm so proud.
ooh -- i need to buy hedge trimmers too... my shrubs are getting out of control. if any boys would like to come over and do my yard work shirtless while i sip a mojito and watch you be all sexxxified, let me know. i'm taking applications.
