so, the house is still haunted.

the creepy hissy sound started again last night, around 4:30am. i didn't let the ghosts get to me, i rolled over and went back to sleep and it was over by the time i woke up this morning. i'll show them. *shakes fist*

haunted or not, the house is shaping up nicely. i'll be happy when it's all painted (the messy, ugly-colored paint job from the last owners is driving me crazy), but other than that it's looking good. i went nuts yesterday in ikea, and for less than $200 came home with a living room rug, throw rug for my bedroom, floor lamp, bamboo window shades and some other little stuff. i'll post pix of the tiki bedroom once i have my home computer up and running. it's sa-weet.

today's the security system and the grill. dad's totally psyched for the grill, he's coming over to put it together and then we're going shopping for hotdogs and burger stuff for tomorrow. w00t!

I'm glad things are coming together, your parents seem super happy too, how far of a drive it is for them to see you??

not far at all, maybe 15-20 minutes. dad was planning on coming over every day this week if i wasn't working!
