random stuff on a wednesday...

* totally psyched that i have tickets for dick dale this coming monday at the north star in center city! i was originally going to invite C, but obviously that's not an option now... so if any of my philly-area peeps are into catching the "king of surf guitar" live, there's a free ticket with your name on it. and yes, you have to hang out with me. :)

* my apartment is roasting, and the built-in AC units do about as much as if i folded a looseleaf-paper fan and waved it from across the room. poor little angus has taken to sitting his little fuzzy butt directly on one of the units to try to cool down. i just have to keep thinking: one more month here and then i'm gone... one more month...

* it's katie's last day on the today show. *weep*. call me a dork, but i would love to take the morning off and watch the goodbye festivities... i guess i'll just have to hook up my VCR and tape everything...

i know, i looooves me some dick dale! i have to remember to bring my camera this time... last time i saw him live, he autographed my belly button after the show... this time i think a photo will suffice. :)
