good weekend!

friday night i went shopping... i was feeling a bit better stomach-wise, so i headed out to the mall. i didn't have any clean clothes to wear, except this cargo skirt i'd bought too small for me (it was skin-tight)... but i tried it on for laughs, and now it fits perfectly! victory! so with my weight-loss high, i decided to be daring and try on some designer clothes (DKNY, geoffrey beene, etc.) and they FIT! wahoo! decided against buying them, because i didn't want to be stuck with expensive clothes i'd only worn once as i lose more weight. i figure i'll wait until i'm a size 6 or so before i start really splurging. did buy some shorts though (i never wear shorts!) and a pair of jeans (i rarely wear jeans), each a couple sizes smaller than i was a month ago. so WW is working!
got weighed yesterday, and i'm down another pound. so that's 7 so far. wahoo! the key this week is exercising... today i'm doing a 5K asthma walk, tuesday i have 3 hours of dance classes and then a dance, and friday night i'll probably go dancing as well. that should help push things along. i figure if i continue losing 1-2 pounds a week, i'll be 30 pounds thinner by the end of the summer. holy crap.
