happy things on a friday

swingchickie* tomorrow i'm spending most of the day house-hunting, and if all goes well, i may be putting an offer on a house right away! my realtor sent me some listings this morning, and one of them is so perfect i can't stand it. perfect size, great style (1960's contemporary split-level), in my price range, close to work, awesome bi-level deck out back that is just screaming for parties. i'm terrified someone's going to see it tonight and steal it from me... if not, i have a feeling i'm going to love it on the spot and pounce. whee!
* going into the city tonight with some peeps to celebrate "first friday", and then (if i have the energy) might stop by brasil's for some salsa dance action. the weather's gorgeous, i will of course have the top down on the car...
* i got my tickets to see dick dale in june at the north star bar. how psyched am i??? haven't seen him in a couple of years and i'm jonesing. philly peeps, come with me. you know you want to. what better way to start off the summer than rocking out with the king of surf guitar?
* got 2 wonderful compliments at work today, one from a co-worker and one from someone higher up in the company. i'll be living off of those words for a month. :)
