swingchickie | happy easter!

hope you all have a fun and relaxing sunday. my weekend's been great... except for having to rush to the DMV at 9am yesterday to stand in line for an hour and a half to get my philly driver's license (unshowered after a night of salsa dancing... it's amazing i even look human in the photo).

salsa dancing friday night was a blast. met up with some co-workers beforehand and had foo-foo martinis and dinner at bleu martini on 2nd street... great food and ultra-hip decor, and a bartender with possibly the most stunningly, beautifully perfect cleavage i have ever seen. society hill was totally alive that night... every sidewalk cafe was packed with beautiful people drinking wine and laughing and enjoying the beautiful weather... people milling about on the street... block-long lines to get into clubs. i felt totally energized being in the midst of all of it. brasil's was surprisingly packed for a holiday weekend... the dance lesson was a riot, and the music as always was completely infectious. (and i got to wear my new sparkly dance shoes! yay!) froze our butts off on the drive home because my co-workers wanted the top down on the car. heh.

had sushi last night with

swingdoc and partytom and their little munchkin, and had a little celebrity sighting: david morse! (of course, i didn't notice him because he's a known actor... i noticed him because i thought he was hawt. *sigh*.) went back to their place after dinner and had red wine and s'mores around their brand-new fire pit on the back patio... sitting there in the dark, with the fire going, made me want to get a place of my own even more. i can't wait. :)
