i just had a nail salon appointment straight out of "candid camera".
first, the gal put COLD water (like, ice cold) in the pedicure basin.
then she left the water on too long, so that it overflowed the basin and onto the floor, soaking several gals' purses.
she spoke english very confidently... yet with hardly any consonants. so i had no idea how to reply each time she'd talk to me at length about something.
for my manicure, she had to fix a nail that was starting to break... and, no lie, glued herself to me in the process. we were full-on joined at the hand... we actually had to bust out the acetone to break ourselves apart.
and i left there with nail polish all over my fingertips. not around the nail, which would be somewhat expected... on the pads of my fingers. i have no idea how she managed to paint the PADS of my fingers.
hee.
