happiness is...

having dinner with a gal-pal in a little candelit persian restaurant.

then going salsa dancing* to burn off the best hummus i ever ate.

then driving home on 76 at 1am with the top down on the car, radio cranked, cool spring air whipping through my hair.

getting ready for bed and having a cute little kitty dudelet to snuggle with.

and knowing that tomorrow i have 2 dates, including a second one with the boy toy medical student who is 7 years younger than me.


* the guy who blew me off last week asked me to dance as soon as i walked in the club. so he's redeemed himself. also, my hands smell like 10 guys' aftershave, i need to wash them before bed. eek.

Well! What move did they teach you in last night's lesson?

I'm daydreaming about showing up there tonight, but most likely I'll hang out here with my ma rather than taking advantage of the babysitting.

hee! actually, i think it's more a product of these guys slapping on the aftershave, and then not rinsing their hands.

we missed the lesson, didn't get out of dinner until 11pm!

medical student? you'd think after knowing me that you'd stay far away from that gig! i guess you wouldn't have to worry about him sitting on your couch doing nothing all weekend. . .instead, he'd be studying! or on call.
