I'm only admitting this for the sake of opening your mind...
...I'm a Yankee's fan too.

Please don't unfriend me.

Rockin'! It's good to see your fabulousness recognized by the general masculine public in its proper fashion.

I'm jealous of your salsa dance plans, as I had only one night off this week and last night was it. I made the most of it, though. (:

i'm certainly happy about it, although spreading the love out over a longer timeframe than, say, a week might have been nice. *chucklesnort*

what did you do last night??? details! we'll miss you at salsa night, but i'll dance enough for the two of us...

This is obvious.

As a "professional dater" .. I, too,
want to see interesting girls a second time.

You, Ma'am, are INTERESTING.

9 of 10 girls I meet... ARE NOT.

So, they don't get a second date.

In short.. this VALIDATES everything I've known ALL ALONG.

Girls are in charge.

If they want dates: they get 'em. Then, it's a simple matter
of then deciding who they want to be with forever.

It's really just that simple for women.

4, 5 dates a night is NOT outside the ballpark for women.

It *IS* for men.

For guys.. it's a HUNT. A STRUGGLE to get names, numbers
and GIRLS TO EMAIL ME BACK AT ALL. Out of 10 emails
to girls online, I got *ZERO* responses.

0 for 10.

ZERO.

I have this enormous calculator to figure out
how many girls I've communicated with,
how I got there, and how LITTLE they
turn into actual dates..

Then, the ones I talk with, I often
don't go out with mostly because they're
NOT INTERESTING.

*NO GIRLS* ever contact me.. (Actually, they do, but
statistically, it's about 0% of the population.)

Therefore, *I* do all the work in hunting and gathering.

In short... and not to poo-poo your good vibes here but:

1. It's EASIER to be a girl. They come to you.
and
2. YOU get to pick
and
3. You're interesting.

In short... it's awesome to be YOU
and it sucks to be a guy.

I've never, ever worked at something so hard in my life
for such LITTLE overall payback... (and, no I'm not talking
about s-e-x.) I'm talking about what SHOULD be happening
to me with all the EFFORT I've put forth thus far.

If I want to write a book on a topic I know nothing
about .. I CAN DO THAT WITH ENOUGH EFFORT.

However, getting 1 woman to email me back out of 10?

That's another story.

that's not the case for all women. do you know how many guys closed me out on eharmony, right out of the gate? dozens and dozens and dozens. of the 5 blind dates i've had this week, 3 of them were guys who *i* went after, and had to write back and forth for weeks and weeks (in the case of C, 3 months) before we met.

also, you at least get phone numbers in bars. i do not. why? because i am not 6' tall, blonde, and a size 4. i could walk into a bar topless with a sign that says "available", and would not get a single phone number. so you do better in person, i do better online. also, instead of going for sheer numbers, i have gone the opposite route and gotten extremely selective about who i write to. maybe instead of throwing all of your energy into so many people, screen 'em out better from the very start, so you're not wasting your time?... i bet your ratio would be a lot higher.

Now I understand

I didn't realize you had this disdain for yankee fans. If so, it must have been acquired from your Boston time.

I guess I had no influence on you at all.

well, some... at least musically... joe jackson's "live 1980-86" CD is still one of my faves... but baseball? nope. i respect 'em, don't like 'em. :)
