any women out there... RUN, don't walk, your nearest "j. jill" store (or cataolgue, i think they're at jjill.com) and buy their slipper socks!!! seriously, i have never had more comfy things on my feet. they're these fuzzy half-slipper, half-sock things that feel like you're walking on muppets. i bought one pair, and a week later went back and bought 4 more! (well, 2 were xmas gifts.) i have the red ones on now... i keep touching my feet 'cause they are SO cozy!!!
the baby kitty's going to the cardiologist tomorrow. i'm still worried about him... one of them puked 4x yesterday and i don't know which one. if i find more when i get home today, i'm going to have a bird. a cat puking once is normal... puking 4x is dangerous.
the man brought flowers home for me yesterday. it was so sweet, i almost teared up. he's trying hard to keep things right with us... definitely putting more effort in. i love him for that. tonight we're going with friends to see the Nutcracker... we'll both be dressed up, we hate dressing casual for the theater... he looks great in a suit. can't wait. i painted my nails last night, first time in about 2 months... i had needed to get my nails healthier, so i gave them a breather... plus he hates nail polish. but after our talk last weekend, i decided to paint 'em. we talked about the fact that i've kind of lost my inner spark, my "oomph"... and i realized that all sorts of little things go into that... and i am a big girly-girl when it comes to makeup, so i'm painting the nails from now on! regardless of what he thinks... i need it for my "oomph"! *grin*
watched the trista and ryan wedding last night. i know, i'm a dork. it was actually quite nice... too much pink for my taste, way too many flowers... i guess it was just too "girly". but for what it was, it was beautiful... and if she wants to give me those diamond shoes, i won't turn 'em down. *grin* the only thing i wondered is: how much of their lovey-ness is for the cameras? are there people who are really that smoochy and sappy with each other 24/7? i can be snuggly and all, but JEEZ. how long can that last?
ah, so fitting... a great simply red lyric just came on: "ah, you're rich... you're beautiful... you're in love."
