swingchickiemaybe it's because spring is officially here (although it's still cold)... but i'm in a good mood this morning. it hit me as i was driving to work, that things in my life are really good right now. sure, i'm overworked and i miss boston... and it'd be nice to be in a relationship... but besides that, at the moment, life is good:
* i got my bonus last week, and just paid off the rest of my debt from monkey's chemo, as well as the balance on my credit card.
* now that my credit debt is paid off, i can start making double payments on my car.
* speaking of my car, i love it. have i mentioned lately that i love it??? 'cause i do. every time i get in vinnie to go anywhere, i start grinning.
* SPRING IS HERE!!! which means in a few weeks i'll be able to drive vinnie with the top down. i can't WAIT.
* the 2 awards i got this week at work give me enough to buy a real coffee table, so i won't have to eat off of a teeny weeny cocktail table anymore.
* i got my tax refund this week as well, which means i can finally get a desk and chair... no more hunching over on the floor to sit in front of my computer!
* J, L1 and L2 told me this week they're coming down from boston to visit in a month! YAY!
* i'm back on LA weight loss after my vacation, and psyched to start losing some weight again.
* while i'd rather be living closer to the city, i have an apartment that i like with plenty of space and it's super-convenient to get everywhere.
* every day, angus becomes even more of a little love-bug. he's totally blossomed since he became the only kitty. which is sad... but it also makes me really really happy when i see how content he is. he purrs 24 hours a day now, and is constantly smooching and head-butting me.
so, i'm sure i'll be back to bitching in a day or two... but for now, things don't suck. *grin*
