i'm so tired already, and it's only 5:30pm. part of me just wants to crawl into bed now and sleep for like 12 hours... but i think some folks are coming over tonight to watch the last episode of "friends". it's cheeseball, i know, but what the hell.
have to be up tomorrow at 4:30am. good lord. every apartment in our building is being inspected tomorrow, so i have to get rid of all cat evidence... including boarding the cats for the day. but their sitter has to be at work at 7:30am, so i have to leave the house at 5:30am to be there by 6:30 so she can drop the cats at her place and get to work. then i have to do it all over at the end of the day to take them home. ugh.
too much work to do, and i don't want to do any of it. that's one of the awful things about working from home... the work is always there, beckoning to you... but you can also keep putting it off.
i'm thinking i'd like to be bicontinental. like, every couple of months take a last-minute jaunt to london for the weekend, on a cheap ticket. pick a pub or nightclub, a couple of restaurants, and become sort of a regular at them over time. i think that would just be a scream. of course, i'll have to get over the whole fear-of-flying thing... but it would be too cool to let that stand in my way. *grin*
