*sigh*. one of jack's co-workers just e-mailed me a link to the profile of a sweet, sweet kitty... she helps out sometimes at a shelter that used to be right down the street from me, and this little guy just arrived.

how funny would it be to have 2 angus's living in my house? i've been thinking for a while about getting him a brother or sister, but didn't know how he'd react... i'm wondering if the same name would get him confused. (not that i'm really thinking of adopting angus #2... but... oh darnit... *whine*)

if this isn't a reason to drop some pounds, i don't know what is.

i got a reply to my mass e-mail last week... the one i sent to a bunch of wedding and party planners in the philly area. turns out this one wedding planner also does corporate stuff, and has a few things in the works over the next few months that might be an awesome fit for some hula hoops. can i get a w00t w00t???

it hit me though that part of the whole corporate thing might include me doing a lesson. urk. i've offered to do private lessons for bachelorette parties and such, but a corporate gig would be, i'm guessing, more performance-oriented. at least, that's what i think based on all the big meetings my company has had. i'm waiting to hear from her to learn what she's envisioning... but in the meantime, i need to get my ass in gear -- start practicing, drop a few pounds, etc. etc. at least the 10 pounds i've lost on WW is still gone (thank god)... but with some healthier eating and hooping 30-60 minutes every day, i should drop a bit more over the next couple of months.

this is exactly the kick in the pants i needed. yay!
