i am definitely a techno-peasant.
Nov. 4th, 2007 02:56 pmbecause rapidweaver is kicking my ass. grrrrrrr.
i know i'm using an old version of it, but i must be missing something -- from what it looks like, i have to learn freaking HTML in order to make my site look the way i want. seriously, all i want to do is put my logo in my header, and put some photos here and there where *i* want them to be (not where a crappy template says they should go)... why do i need to learn to program in order to do that?
seriously, i am a freaking WHIZ at powerpoint... if there was some way to build each page in powerpoint (so i could drag things around and make it look EXACTLY how i want), and then publish it all from there, i'd be golden. i don't know why it has to be so freaking hard to do something like that.
*heavy sigh*.
ETA: um, wow. so, it looks like you CAN use powerpoint to build web pages. powerpoint itself was no help, but i found an online tutorial that makes it look like it's not super-hard. i played around with it for a bit and managed to create a pretty spiffy new home page... now i just have to learn how to upload it so it replaces the current one. hrm.
