had a long dream about monkey last night.

god, she looked so good. healthy, happy, purring up a storm. in the dream, i took a bunch of snapshots of her to prove to people that she was actually alive. of course, she's not. and now i am starting my day so completely weepy that she's not here... damn it.

zzzzzzzzz...

so... tired... just came home from a 13-hour day. it was supposed to be a regular day, and i was supposed to take dad to dinner after work... but then, as is typical with my job, i got a fire drill thrown at me mid-afternoon and i had to hunker down for the next 6 hours. argh. have to be up by 5am to finish it up... needless to say, i'm going to bed NOW.

oh, question for you guys... i thought of another "summer song" i'd like to put on my mix CD, but itunes doesn't have it. does anyone remember a song called, i think, "thank you" by geggy tah? "all i wanna do is to thank you/even though i don't know who you are/you let me change lanes/while i was driving in my car..." if you have it, or know where i can find it, lemme know...
