she's doing a bit better. i'm SO happy. i mean, she's a very sick kitty, do doubt about it... but compared to sunday, she's looking okay. i fed her through her tube this morning, and although it was time consuming, it wasn't hard. she's a bit nauseous from the meal though... her tummy's just not used to food anymore, so it's going to be slow going. but she hasn't barfed, the oncologist is happy with her progress, and i'm glad i fought to bring her home instead of keeping her in the hospital another night.
i did inflate my air mattress last night, and we did a little sleepover in the living room. i turned out the lights, made everything nice and calm, and after a little bit i felt a tiny *ploop* on the foot of the mattress... monkey had managed to get herself on, and walked up to snuggle up near my head like she always does. the oncologist thought that was adorable that i would go to the trouble of sleeping on the floor for her... but i want things to be as normal as possible, so she'll feel safe and get better quicker. and heck, i've slept in the TUB for her... an air mattress is nothing. *grin*
i'm going to go finish watching "the nomi song" with her now... cool documentary btw, if you haven't seen it.
