pesto?

anyone have any ideas on how to use pesto? D made a huge batch of it and gave me a big container full, made from the basil in his garden. YUM. so far we've put it on pasta with grilled chicken, and i made a boboli pizza (whole wheat crust) using it, pizza cheese, and jumbo shrimp. but i still have a half of a container left, and don't want to waste this stuff... it's amazing.

let the vacation begin...

well, i'm off until monday. whee! taking D away for the weekend for his b-day (more on that later), so i decided to take a couple of days off beforehand and get some stuff done around the house and then be a bum. :)

fun stuff on tap:

tonight - low-fat sundae from JP licks in the square, then reality tv overload... "miami ink" at 8pm, "rockstar: INXS" at 9:30, and "30 days" at 10... with channel-switching going on between all those and the 2-hour season premiere of "so you think you can dance". WHEEEEEEE!

tomorrow and/or friday - jaunt to the beach for a few hours, get my nails done, and read the first harry potter book (yes, i am jumping in about 10 years late).

oh, i am SO happy.
