oh, this is SO dangerous.

so, i'm discovering the awful truth: that buying a work from your favorite artist is like eating potato chips or getting a tattoo, you can't have just one. a couple of weeks ago, i e-mailed the owner of a california art gallery, because i'd heard he has a copy of my favorite Shag piece, "her missing suitors":




i love this piece, because not only is it colorful and fabulous, but it has some dark humor as well. *grin* well, i got an e-mail back from him today... he has a copy. eek. because now it means i want it to hang in my bedroom (what better place to showcase a painting of a woman dangling the skulls of her lovers), and if it costs less that the amount i recieved in my award last week at my meeting, i might have to give in. oh, this is SO wrong.
